I. furthest [βρετ ˈfəːðɪst, αμερικ ˈfərðəst] ΕΠΊΡΡ far When you are referring to real distances and places, you can use either farthest or furthest (which is the usual form in spoken English); only furthest is used, however, with the figurative meaning to the greatest degree or amount
