- Il Big Ben era, originariamente, il soprannome dato a una campana di grandi dimensioni, fusa nel 1856, posta in cima alla torre delle Houses of Parliament. A battezzarla con questo nome è stato Sir Benjamin Hall, Chief Commissioner of Works. Oggigiorno Big Ben viene usato per indicare sia la campana che la torre. I rintocchi del Big Ben vengono trasmessi da alcune stazioni radio e televisive per annunciare il radiogiornale o il telegiornale.

- Cinecittà , the Italian city of cinema, is a completely self-sufficient complex nine km outside Rome with streets, squares, parks, studios, and all the technical departments needed for making movies. It was built in 1937 and covers an area of 40 hectares. There are 22 studios, 280 dressing rooms and offices, 21 make-up rooms, and a 7, 000 square meter swimming pool.
