The Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital infrastructure (BMVI) commissions GIZ primarily to undertake project and financial management of programmes in the transport and building sectors within the framework of EU-funded partnerships between public administrations (twinning).
GIZ also organised a dialogue event in Viet Nam on behalf of the Ministry in 2011, focusing on sustainable urban development, urban transport and energy-efficient construction.

Das Bundesministerium für Verkehr und digitale Infrastruktur (BMVI) beauftragt die GIZ vor allem im Rahmen von EU-Verwaltungspartnerschaften (Twinning) mit dem Projekt- und Finanzmanagement von Projekten zu Verkehr und Bau.
Zudem führte die GIZ 2011 im Auftrag des Ministeriums eine Dialogveranstaltung in Vietnam zu den Themen nachhaltige Stadtentwicklung, städtischer Verkehr und energieeffizientes Bauen durch.

In order to determine whether the HNP is achieving its objectives, GIZ commissioned a research institute to evaluate the programme.

As part of Germany’s commitment to rebuilding the police force in Afghanistan, the Federal Foreign Office (AA) has commissioned the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to set up a Project Implementation Unit (PIU) in order to build training centres and administrative buildings and run training courses for the police.
The programme is being implemented in conjunction with the German Police Project Team (GPPT) and the European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan (EUPOL Afghanistan).

(PIU) zu gründen, um Ausbildungszentren sowie Dienstgebäude zu bauen und Schulungen durchzuführen.
Das Programm wird in enger Kooperation mit dem Deutschen Polizei Projekt Team (GPPT) und der EUPOL-Mission in Afghanistan umgesetzt.
