Er billigte ein Scoreboard beschäftigungs- und sozialpolitischer Schlüsselindikatoren (Arbeitslosigkeit, Jugendarbeitslosigkeit, verfügbares Einkommen der Haushalte, Armutsgefährdung, Einkommensungleichheiten), das zum ersten Mal in den gemeinsamen Beschäftigungsbericht aufgenommen wurde.
Das Scoreboard wird die bessere und frühere Ermittlung wichtiger beschäftigungs- und sozialpolitischer Probleme in den an der Wirtschafts- und Währungsunion teilnehmenden Mitgliedstaaten ermöglichen.
