Die Ausstellungsflächen im Fridericianum, in der Documentahalle, der Neuen Galerie und dem Schloß Wilhelmshöhe haben sehr wohl eine Form und zwar in der beindruckenden Gestaltung der Ausstellungsräume.
Diese präsentieren sich mal hell und farbenfroh, mal düster und höhlenartig, mal mit oder ohne knalligem Teppich und verabschieden sich damit von der klassischen Präsentation im White Cube.
Allerdings drängt sich bei dieser Inszenierung mit ihren suggestiven Korrespondenzen implizit die Frage auf, ob der Kurator hier tatsächlich noch als Vermittler agiert oder nicht eher seinen Auftritt als Künstler oder besser Kunstraumgestalter feiert.

These present themselves either as bright and colorful, or dark and cave-like, sometimes with or without a garish carpet, and thus depart from the classical presentation in the White Cube.
But an implicit question imposes itself on one in connection with this presentation and its subtle correspondences as to whether the curator is in fact acting as a facilitator here, or is celebrating his own entrée as an artist, or rather as an art-space designer.
