2012 nahm er im Rahmen des Moving Africa-Programms des Goethe-Instituts am Kwani-Literaturfestival in Nairobi teil.
Er ist der Autor einer Gedichtsammlung mit dem Titel “Scions of the Malcontent” und er arbeitet an einem Kurzgeschichtenband.
Er ist Gründer und Herausgeber des Bakwa Magazine sowie Kolumnist für die Ann Arbor Review of Books.
