Die mit Professor Daniel Libeskind begonnene Erforschung der Bedürfnisse und Möglichkeiten einer zukunftsgewandten Campusentwicklung wurde in der „ Projektwoche Campusentwicklung “ in Zusammenarbeit mit Dozierenden und Studierenden der Leuphana Universität vom 28. September bis 03. Oktober 2007 fortgesetzt.
Aus allen vier Standorten der Universität konstituierte sich ein multiperspektivisches Forum zur intensiven methodischen Erforschung und kontroversen Auseinandersetzung mit möglichen Entwicklungsperspektiven zukünftigen universitären Lebens.
Die fachspezifischen Seminargruppen behandelten dabei wissenschaftliche Fragen der Campusentwicklung und leiteten daraus strategische Visionen mit Modellcharakter ab.

A multi-perspective forum comprising all four locations of the University was set up to intensively analyze and discuss the potential perspectives for development of future university life.
Subject-related seminar groups looked at scientific issues of the campus development and developed strategic visions serving as a model.

Die Projektgruppe wird eine Mittlerrolle zwischen den zahlreichen universitären Forschungseinrichtungen, der medizinischen Fakultät mit der entsprechenden Patientenversorgung und der Industrie einnehmen.
Durch innovative Technologieentwicklungen sollen maßgeschneiderte Diagnostika, Tumor-Therapeutika und -Therapieverfahren mit Modellcharakter etabliert werden, so dass auch das Gesundheitssystem möglichst rasch von den neuen Erkenntnissen profitieren kann.

The project group will take on an intermediary role between the numerous university research facilities, the medical faculty including patient care and industry.
Innovative technological developments will allow the development of tailored diagnostic products and model tumor therapeutics and therapeutic methods, thus in turn allowing the healthcare system to profit from the new insights as quickly as possible.
