The study was piloted in 2013 and is being implemented by the Education Quality Improvement Program ( EQUIP ) of the Ministry of Education .
Between 2010 and 2012, a total of 31,341 student teachers completed their studies at a teacher training college (44.3% women).

Außerdem wurden in 29 staatlichen und privaten Krankenhäusern Ausschüsse gebildet, die Maßnahmen zur Qualitätsverbesserung in ihrer jeweiligen Einrichtung vorantreiben.

As a result of the support provided to the Tanzanian Quality Improvement Framework , a system for annual self-assessment of service quality has been successfully implemented in most hospitals in the programme region .
Furthermore, 29 public and private hospitals have formed committees to promote measures aimed at improving service quality in their respective facilities.
