Während eines TanDEM-X-Kontaktes mit der DLR-Bodenstation in Inuvik konnten erstmals die von TSX and TDX übertragenen Informationen eingesehen werden.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt waren die Satelliten noch fünf Kilometer voneinander entfernt.
