2011 testeten wir 21 potentielle Beutetiere ( Insekten und Spinnen ) gegen den Geruch von 15 Spinnenarten und entdeckten dabei, dass Waldgrillen ( Nemobius sylvestris ) ein starkes Räuberabwehrverhalten zeigten wenn sie mit dem Geruch von Listspinnen ( Pisaura mirabilis ) und Labyrinthspinnen ( Agelena labyrinthica ) konfrontiert wurden.
Aber auch schwarze Wegameisen (Lasius niger) veränderten ihre Aktivität wenn zuvor die kleine Wolfspinnenart Aulonia albimana zugegen war.
Anhand dieser drei Räuber-Beute Kombinationen werde ich mit Hilfe von Bioassays und analytischen Methoden untersuchen wie die Anwesenheit der Spinnen von Beutearten erkannt wird.

But also black garden ants (Lasius niger) changed their activity in the former presence of the small wolf spider Aulonia albimana.
With these three predator-prey combinations I will investigate how the presence of spider predators is detected by prey species using bioassays and analytical methods.
