Das Ensemble, das von Studenten der Universität Palacky in Olmütz besteht, ist im Jahre 2001 dank der Initiative der musikliebenden Schülern, unter der Schutz der Katheder der Musiklehre der pädagogischen Fakultät, entstanden.
Das Studium einer Musiklehre ist allerdings keine Pflicht für den Einstieg ins Ateneo, und daher sind die Reihen der Mitglieder sehr bunt geworden: von Mathematikstudenten über zukünftige Ärzte bis zu Juristen oder investigativen Journalisten, und natürlich sind auch die zukünftigen Lehrer dabei.
Vom Anfang an wier der Chor vom PaeDr. Pavel Režný, Ph.D. geleitet, der zu den pädagogischen und wissenschaftlichen Kollektivmitgliedern der Katheder der Musiklehre PdF UP gehört.

The study of any music subjects is not a condition for entrance though, so the range of the members is quite various: from math students over future doctors to lawyers or investigative journalists, and of course, future teachers.
The choir has been conducted by PaeDr. Pavel Rezny, Ph.D., associate professor of Palacky University of the Faculty of Education of the Department of Music, since its establishing.
