Helene » Hella « FRÖHLICH, geborene Monderer, geboren am 1. Mai 1871 in Tonie bei Krakau ( Galizien, Österreich Ungarn, hernach Polen ), war Jüdin und Ehefrau des Berufsoffiziers Leo FRÖHLICH, der in Neuhaus ( Böhmen ) und seit 1913 in Salzburg stationiert war, als k. u. k. Hauptmann des Böhmischen Infanterie-Regiments Nr. 75 im Oktober 1914 bei Kämpfen an der österreichisch-russischen Front starb.
Die Kriegswitwe Hella FRÖHLICH, die weiterhin in Salzburg lebte, seit Anfang der 1920er Jahre im Haus Stelzhamerstraße 14 wohnte, bekam im Jahr 1932 Besuch von einer Verwandten ihres verstorbenen Mannes, die über ihre Begegnung mit Tante Hella berichtete:

The war widow Hella FRÖHLICH, continued to live in Salzburg - at 14 Stelzhamerstraße from the early 1920s on.In 1932 she was visited by her late husband’s niece who later recalled that:
