Wenn ab Mai 2010 Gäste aus aller Welt den Deutschen Pavillon auf der Expo in Shanghai besuchen, werden sie in den Ausstellungsräumen mit Exponaten und Projekten aus Industrie, Forschung und Entwicklung unter anderem einem riesigen Pendel begegnen.
Das Pendel ist Kernstück der sogenannten Energiezentrale des Pavillons, der unter dem Motto „balancity – Stadt in Balance“ steht und vor allem Lösungen made in Germany zur Gestaltung des urbanen Lebens in der Zukunft präsentiert.

This pendulum is the main item of the so-called energy center of the pavilion themed “balancity – city in balance” which presents mainly solutions made in Germany for a better urban life in the future.
