Die modernisierte Ausbildungsordnung tritt zum 1. August in Kraft.
Der Ausbildungsrahmenplan für die dreijährige Ausbildung wurde neu gestaltet.
Wesentliche Änderungen sind unter anderem die Stärkung der Ausbildung im Bereich Materialkenntnis und die größere Praxisnähe durch ein Vorziehen der Fertigungsplanung und -steuerung in den ersten Ausbildungsabschnitt.
