Who are these kings ?
Previously, in the same chapter, both the King of the North and the King of the South were already mentioned, but those kings are understood to be from the Seleucid Empire in Syria and the Ptolemaic Dynasty in Egypt.
Beginning at verse 36, however, an event that will take place in the end-times is described, which we can clearly recognize from Daniel 12:1.

Schon vorher, im selben Kapitel, werden die beiden Könige des Nordens und des Südens erwähnt, womit die Dynastien der Seleukiden in Syrien und der Ptolomäer in Ägypten gemeint sind.
Ab Vers 36 ist jedoch von einem Geschehen in der Endzeit die Rede, wie wir es deutlich aus Daniel 12,1 erkennen können.
