Weitere infektiöse Hauterkrankungen wie Mykosen sowie primäre Immundefizienzsyndrome wie das Wiskott-Aldrich-Syndrom, die schwere kombinierte Immundefizienz (SCID) und das DiGeorge-Syndrom sind ebenfalls mögliche Differentialdiagnosen.
