Verschiedene Arbeitsgruppen befassen sich zum Beispiel mit Medizinischer Ausbildung, Famulaturen im Ausland, Flüchtlingen und Frieden, Sexualaufklärung, Gesundheitsreform, Palliativmedizin.
Der Verein fördert die enge Kommunikation unter den lokalen Studierendenvertretern , arbeitet an nationalen Projekten und vertritt als German Medical Student ` s Association ( GEMSA ) international die Medizinstudierenden in Deutschland .
Auch Mitglieder der Ulmer Fachschaft sind auf diesen Treffen vertreten.
