Die britische Regierung beauftragte die Wettbewerbskommission ( Competition Commission ; CC ) mit einer Untersuchung , ob die derzeitige Ausgestaltung des Busmarkts in Großbritannien ( ohne London und Nordirland ) Nachteile für die Verbraucher durch fehlenden Wettbewerb bringt .
Im Dezember 2011 wurde der Abschlussbericht veröffentlicht und ein entsprechender Maßnahmenkatalog vorgeschlagen.

In December 2011, the final report was published and a corresponding list of recommended measures was presented.
