Concurrently with the financial closing of the “ Meerwind ” project, Blackstone announced its acquisition of yet another offshore wind farm project in the German Exclusive Economic Zone.
The “Nördlicher Grund” wind farm will be built 84 km west of Sylt in an area of approximately 64 km2, and will consist of 64 turbines with a total output of at least 320 MW.
Construction should be completed by the end of 2016.

Auf einer Fläche von zirka 64 km2 soll 84 km westlich von Sylt mit „Nördlicher Grund“ ein Windpark entstehen, der 64 Offshore-Windkraftanlagen mit einer Gesamtleistung von mindestens 320 MW umfasst.
Mit der Baufertigstellung wird Ende 2016 gerechnet.
