Obwohl die Zeichnung von Dürer aus der Renaissance stammt, hat die Schülerin Verena Wüstinger ( ku 12 ) den barocken Gedanken des memento mori sehr eindrucksvoll aktualisiert und die heutige Angst vor dem Altwerden – siehe die Verwendung aller möglichen Kosmetika – eindringlich dargestellt.

Although this drawing by Dürer originates from the Renaissance period, our pupil Verena Wüstinger ( ku 12 ) has impressively reproduced the baroque ideas of memento mori and forcibly represented the modern fears about ageing ( note the use of all possible cosmetics ).
