Der Stuttgarter MAHLE Konzern, Weltmarktführer bei Kolben und Motorkomponenten, und einer der bedeutendsten europäischen Lieferanten von Filtersystemen für die Automobilindustrie, hat heute in einer gemeinsamen Erklärung mit dem japanischen Automobilhersteller Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. in Tokio die Übernahme des größten Einzelaktienpakets von 33,3 % an der japanischen Filterfirma Tennex Corporation bekanntgegeben.
Die Tennex Corporation, bisher im Mehrheitsbesitz der Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., erzielte im vergangenen Geschäftsjahr mit 2.000 Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von rd. 450 Millionen EURO.

Previously a majority shareholding of Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., Tennex Corporation reported a sales volume of approximately Euro 450 million with a total workforce of around 2'000 employees in its last year of business.
