Spleen (Wels Version) recherchiert den Jugendkult um das Idol einer Vespa 50 Spezial.
Moises und Hofmann zerlegten diese im Sinne einer Explosionszeichnung hängend im Raum, während Phelps die Tuning-Leidenschaft beider Künstler wiederum im Bild festhält.

Spleen (Wels version) investigates the youth cult devoted to the idol of a Vespa 50 Special.
Moises and Hofmann dismantled the Vespa, presenting it in a kind of exploded view suspended in space, while Phelps captured the two artists’ passion for tuning in photographs, creating staged portraits with the charm of juvenile photo-mementos in the milieu of the two-car garage (artist’s statement).
