Roland Strunk, der LowRez Retroshirts 2004 gründete, ist seit seiner Kindheit begeisterter Videospieler.
Er gestaltete die ersten T-Shirts als Hobby und aus Freude an nostalgischen Erinnerungen – wie zum Beispiel an die „ Atari VCS 2600 “ Konsole oder dem Homecomputer „ C64 “.
Seitdem hat er das Motivrepertoire stetig erweitert und in die Rubriken Pixel-, Vektor-, Scanline- und Retrodesigns aufgeteilt.
